In support of World Stroke Day (27 October), HKU Stroke, The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, The Hong Kong Stroke Association, and Swire Properties Community Ambassador Programme jointly launched the “Together We Care for Stroke” Exhibition from 27 to 29 October at Citiplaza. We truly appreciate your support for visiting our booth over the 3 days.
Apart from raising awareness of the importance of stroke prevention and management through health checks and counselling, including blood pressure measurement and atrial fibrillation, we have also been able to showcase the latest application of innovative technologies, Smart Rehab, a mobile platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to facilitate accessible and affordable stroke rehabilitation in the home setting.
In view of the rising prevalence of young stroke, we hope to advocate for the early management of risk factors of stroke and the importance of caring for stroke patients and their families and caregivers, so that “Together We Care for Stroke”!
