The WeRISE App was downloaded more than 1300 times since its launch in May 2021!
It covers Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and other districts. More than 12 hospitals and societies are using and introducing WeRISE App to stroke patients and their caregivers.
We interviewed Mr. Lau Kim Hung, director of the Hong Kong Stroke Association, a stroke patient support group, Ms. Mo Sin Ling, director of the Patient Resource Center, Queen Mary Hospital and a medical social worker , and Mr. Yu Chung Ching, a stroke nurse consultant of Kowloon East Cluster. They encourage stroke patients and their caregivers to use the WeRISE App, a “one-stop” mobile stroke management platform, to facilitate rehabilitation.
