In the previous episode, we mentioned the importance of the FAST slogan and the golden 4.5 hours for treating stroke, as a reminder to be aware of the common symptoms and to seek immediate medical attention should these symptoms occur to reduce risk of developing complications. In this episode, we will explain what happens to stroke patients upon hospitalisation, the investigations and treatment that may be provided, and also the role of different healthcare professionals in the management of patients with stroke.
