What does the daily work routine and dietary habits of occupational drivers really look like? What potential health risks may be hidden and easily overlooked? Watch the video now—taxi driver Mr. Fung takes you through his daily work life. 🚗

Lack of physical activity, unhealthy dietary choices, and lifestyle habits such as smoking can all increase the risk of stroke and cardiovascular diseases. Through early risk identification and preventive education, individual health can be effectively safeguarded, while also helping to reduce the risk of sudden health incidents that may compromise road safety.

HKUMed will organize a health screening event on 19 April 2026 (Sunday) to raise public awareness of health issues, in support of World Health Day. The event aims to encourage the public to pay closer attention to their health, with a particular focus on individuals who drive for long hours and the potential health risks they may face, such as stroke.
