The Southern District Health Center (SDHC), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Student Association of Neuroscience (HKSAN), will host the "Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Health Exhibition and Healthy Life Carnival" on June 22-23 (Saturday and Sunday) at the 4th floor of Lei Tung Shopping Centre in Ap Lei Chau. This event will not only provide valuable information on stroke management and prevention but also offer free stroke risk assessments and engaging booth games to highlight the importance of managing stroke risk factors.
We are honoured to have Dr. Teo Kay Cheong, Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong and Deputy Director of HKU Stroke, present the special lecture "Learn About Stroke Together" on June 23 (Sunday) at 11:00 am and 12:15 pm. Dr. Cheong will discuss the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of stroke, as well as the rehabilitation process and post-stroke care.
