We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to various sectors for making our HKU Stroke booth at GAES 2024 a phenomenal success. The event would not have been possible without the unfailing support of each and everyone who joined us, from enthusiastic visitors to our dedicated volunteers and collaborators. It is our sincere hope that you have gained a deeper insight into stroke prevention and management, as well as how innovations like SmartRehab can make an impact. Through our health screening and counselling, we hope you have heightened your awareness of stroke-related risk factors and young stroke.
Meanwhile, we are honoured to receive the Smart Ageing Leader Award from Golden Age Foundation. Our sincere thanks to the foundation for bestowing this recognition upon HKU Stroke. GAES has certainly been a golden opportunity for us to present our work to the public and enhance the support for stroke and other diseases through innovations.
During the event, we have reached out to several potential collaborators and we are more than eager to join forces in stroke advocacy. We will endeavour to continue our research on the causes, prevention and management of stroke. Stay tuned for our future events and combat stroke together!
