Application of Augmentative Communication Tool & Management of Stroke Risk | Aphasia HK x HKU Stroke

An event for aphasia and stroke patients has successfully been held by Aphasia HK and HKU Stroke.

Aphasia HK demonstrated how augmentative communication tools can be used in household and community settings to facilitate communication of aphasia patients. Dr Gary Lau Kui Kai, Clinical Associate Professor in Neurology of HKU Medicine, as well as Director of HKU Stroke, explained prevention and treatment of stroke, and conducted health screening and consultation for participants.
