🩺 The advancements in innovative technology have contributed significantly to the betterment of multiple disciplines, ranging from elderly wellbeing to community health. @HKUStroke is proactively conducting research in collaboration with various sectors. With cutting-edge solutions, our mission is to make a tangible difference in stroke prevention and management for stroke patients as well as caregivers.
We are delighted to join hands with other HKU departments to co-host a 6-standard-booth large area, including Neurology @HKUStroke, Social Work #SauPoCentreonAgeingHKU, Speech and Swallowing #HKUSwallowingResearchLaboratory, Nursing #pathha.hku, Oncology @hkusupportplus, and Industrial and Systems Engineering #HKUAdvancedTechnologiesInstitute . What’s more, we have invited Professor Gary Kui Kai Lau, Director of HKU Stroke and Assistant Dean (Education Innovations) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine at HKU, to host a talk on “Harnessing Technology to Deliver Sustainable and Innovative Solutions” on 4 August, with CEOs from several InnoTech companies sharing about the application of technology in the enhancement of quality of life.
